The Royal Palms Resort and Spa in the Valley of the Sun, which was formerly renowned solely for its winter retreat, has undergone a significant transformation. The Royal Palms Resort and Spa has been welcoming guests since the winter of 1948, but the history of this ancient estate dates back far deeper. It was originally built as a winter retreat for New York entrepreneur Delos Willard Cooke and his wife Florence, who were looking for a more pleasant place to spend their retirement years after selling their firm.
The estate was refurbished and made into a spectacular resort after being purchased by a wealthy businessman in the 1940s. With its Spanish colonial architecture and atmosphere, the contemporary Royal Palms Resort and Spa exudes the grandeur of the current day amid the splendours of the past. Rooms and suites totalling more than 100 square metres are dispersed over the estate and include European-style décor, breathtaking views, and complementary Wi-Fi.
Each visitor is given three personnel to guarantee that each client receives the greatest level of service possible.
The Alvadora Spa, which is housed inside the resort, is almost as stunning, with eight treatment rooms and a full-service salon. A Cybex fitness centre is provided on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week for individuals who want a more active kind of leisure.
